Love them or hate them, but you simply can’t live without them…that’s how it is with siblings, especially sisters :-). Your first friend, your partner in crime, your biggest support and also your biggest nightmare, they are the best things that can ever happen in one’s life! A relationship like no other, there is absolutely nothing that can surpass the love and bond between siblings…and clichés aside, it’s truly a blessing to have a sibling in one’s life.

So whether it’s an elder one or a younger sis you got, here are some reasons why we feel she totally deserves a treat this Rakhi!

1. Because there’s no “buddy” like a sister…Whether it was protecting your back from mommy or being an ally in your pranks or just being there to take in all your tantrums and phases of growing up, she’s been the ultimate B.F.F and will always be so 🙂

2. Because she gave you tons of valuable advice so that YOU could woo your crush…From dating advice to knowing what’s best when it comes to a lady’s heart, it was she who helped you know the way to a girl’s heart! Oh and not to forget…thanks to her you can now safely understand a woman’s mind!!

3. Because she’s the one who will understand you without your having to say even a word…Trust the sister to know your heart always! Whether it’s a secret you just have to share or a difficult moment in life, there’s a secret language that only you and she can understand, be it in childhood or when you are grown up!

4. Because she’s always been there for you to throw in a few punches… Remember all those friendly and not so friendly brawls and wrestling matches? Those pillow fights? Yes it’s always fun throwing in a few friendly punches and it’s just irresistible to not pull those pigtails but accept it, your sister has been super KIND to bear with all those fun sessions of “let’s play hit me!”

5. Because with her, there is never a dull moment in life…Crazy, silly, irritating, down-right hilarious and some of the best times of our life….trust the sister to make your life a truly memorable one! In short…life is so.much.fun when she’s around!

Sisters are awesome and there’s absolutely no doubt about that! She makes you feel special any day and everyday…which is why you should not think twice before making her feel special and giving her a treat this Rakhi!
